My son needed some pants for baseball practice on cooler days. I couldn't find many pants locally since it is spring, so I ordered these. I was glad I did. These are not too thick, but warm enough to wear on cooler days. The ribbing around the ankle makes it easy to pull on and off for my preschooler who doesn't always want to unzip them when he goes to pull them on. The side color is a very reddish orange, which is great but not the easiest to match. These were on sale when I purchased them, so I would definitely get these again. the fit is great, very true to size, and the length is appropriate. My almost 5 year old wears a size 5. These fit equivalent to other sports pants we have purchased in the past.Update. I reduced this from 5 stars to 3. The fabric around the ankles snags really easily. These were only worn a few times in the spring. Now that I look at them in the fall, they have moved to the play clothes. Not durable enough for kid's wear.These Adidas pants are perfect for my active 6 year old son as we come into spring and summer. They comfortable, lightweight and built with quality so he will get plenty of wear out of them. He is average weight and height for a 6 year and these fit him well with a small room for growth. I feel that if a child was above average in size, they would need to wear the next size up. The colour of grey and red go perfectly together and are trendy so my son wants to wear them every day. He wants me to buy another pair, so that review says it all!Bought a size 5 for my 5 yr old son. The item fits him perfectly in terms of the pants length. As my son is on the skinnier side, the waist is just slightly big, but still manageable as the waist is elastic. Very pleased with the item, would love to purchase other colors.more of a slim fit. size 7 fits a 4'3" just right at the ankle. no drawstrings only elastic. great for cool summer days.I m buying it again. They are great. My boy already used the size 4 last year and used them a lot. He love this pants!!!My son is almost 7 and 7X is a little longer than 7 so it puts perfect. These pants are also slim fit with zippers at the ankles.Great product.I love these little pants on my 2 year old. He says they are comfortable and enjoys wearing them.
