I really like the rain coat, but it does run super big! My son wears 18-24 months right now and that is the size I bought. I read the reviews so I knew it ran big. It's early in the rainy season so I didn't want him to out grow it before the season was over, but I could have gotten the 12-18 month easy!! The arms are about 4" too long and it goes down to about his calves. Hopefully he can wear it next year too!This fit my son large, but I was glad for that because he'll be able to wear it through another season. The snaps come together easily. I do like that everything glides off the outside, but the inside has a nice liner. Because it has a liner he was able to wear it days that were chillier but rainy. This was more more expensive than other rain coats, but it was worth it. My son LOVES dinosaurs, so this was a big hit.This coat is adorable and very well made. It has a nice lining in it and the materials are high quality. It is my experience that Hatley runs a bit large. I bought the 18-24 month size for my child who just turned two and it is a little big on him. I have to roll up the sleeves a little.A perfect raincoat. Silky soft, lined, playful print, generously sized. The 12 month size fits my almost 20-lb, small to average-sized 11-month old roomily, but with the sleeves rolled up, it isn't way too big. He'll probably be able to wear this for another year, so I'd say that this size would fit an average 18 month-old very well. Hatley raincoats are excellent quality and can withstand handing-down!Beautiful, sturdy, raincoat. The soft terry cloth lining keeps my baby snuggy warm, while the outer shell is flexible and non-restricting. The colors are bright, the stitching is tight--this coat is sure to hold up for a long, long, time. You can feel comfortable spending this kind of money on such a quality product. I'm sure this raincoat will be passed along and worn by all my kids.I bought this a little large on purpose at the beginning of the northwest winter so it would last. At first I had to roll up the sleeves a little, but that's not a big deal. My son has a pretty big head (99th percentile, lol) so the hood is a little small, but not terrible. The lining is nice and cozy too. I got the matching galoshes and he's so darn cute when he wears them together.Absolutely in love with this little raincoat! It's perfect for the Seattle weather and keeps my little guy nice and dry! The material is quality and the inside is cozy and warm...very easy to put over whatever he is wearing and I love that the hood is lined as well.Haven't seen this in person as it was sent as a gift to my grandson. He's a little on small side so it offers room for extra layers underneath which is perfect for Portland weather. Parents seem pleased with it. Good value for price.i have bought my grandson Hatley raincoats since he could walk and this one continues with great quality and design.I bought the coat advertised as 18 months, lovely coat but actually 12-18 months so comes up small than expectedThis is the 3rd Hatley coat bought for my boys as they are so hard wearing and always look fab. I will continue to buy them as with rough and tumble boys they stay in fab condition so they look as good as new to hand down to the next child.Great value for money. Good quality. Waterproof.
