These are extremely nice skates for a reasonable price for a thirteen year old intermediate skater. My son had been taking skating lessons for a couple of years using rental skates. He reached a point where we decided to buy him his own skates. Hockey skates are readily available locally, but it was difficult to find any men's figure skates near us, so we decided to give these a try. We are very happy that we did. They exceed our expectations for the price. They fit excellent, and my son was immediately a better skater in these than he was in the rental skates. They have much better ankle support so his ankles aren't bending in, and he is able to stop and turn with more confidence. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a solid figure skate. They look really nice and feel like a quality pair of dress shoes. My son is thrilled with them.Absolutely amazing! Worth every penny for sure! Quality leather, comfortable fit, and great blades. I'd have given a five star rating if they'd had a little more padding on the inside. But they are just what I expected.I bought this skates for my son and he is very happy to have them. High quality leather, amazing design with support makes them number one in Europe. I was born in Russia and since 1979 was introduced to this skates,they were always my number one. I can highly recommend them.i took the skates out one time, I am a slow skater and trying to get the feel of the ice. 3x around the rinkand as I was skating the blade gave way and snapped off I was hurt during the fall mostly a soreleg and hip. I never seen a blade snap off this way.especially from mild use not playing hockey etc
